BREAKING: Popular Islamic Preacher, Muhydeen Ajani Bello, Dies at 84

    Renowned Islamic scholar and preacher, Sheikh Muhydeen Ajani Bello, has passed away at the age of 84.
    Sheikh Akewugbagold Taofeek, an Ibadan-based cleric, confirmed the death of the fearless preacher from Oyo State in a Facebook post on Friday.
    According to Akewugbagold, the esteemed scholar returned to his Creator on that day, praying for Allah to be pleased with his soul.
    “Today is one of my saddest days! My father and mentor has returned to his Creator. SULTONUL WAHIZEEN of Yorubaland, Sheikh Muhydeen AJANI BELLO, may Allah be pleased with your soul. Aljannah Firdaus for you. Our hearts are full of grief and our eyes full of tears, but we will say nothing except what pleases our Creator, the sole Commander of life and death – ALLAH,” he wrote.
    Additionally, his son, Alhaji Basit Olanrewaju Katibi Bello, popularly known as Aponle Anobi, confirmed his father’s passing in a social media post on Friday.
    Aponle Anobi shared a picture of Sheikh Muhydeen with crying emojis, but provided no further details.
    Sheikh Muhydeen was born in 1940 to Alhaji Bello Ajani and Alhaja Ubaidat Bello of Arolu Compound, Ita Olukoyi, Ibadan.
