Nwoko: Obior Queen Mother a Pillar of Strength for Anioma Unity

Sen. Ned Nwoko (APC–Delta North) on Wednesday felicitated Her Royal Highness, Omu Onyebuchibe Okonkwo, the Queen Mother of Obior Kingdom, on the occasion of her birthday.

In a statement made available in Abuja, Nwoko described the Omu as a fearless leader and a pillar of strength in advancing the collective aspirations of the Anioma people.

He noted that she has distinguished herself through uncommon strength of character and clarity of purpose, adding that her voice continues to resonate on issues concerning the unity and development of Anioma.

The lawmaker also acknowledged her steadfast support for the creation of Anioma State, stating that her position has helped sustain momentum for the longstanding demand.

He described her as a courageous and consistent advocate who has remained committed to championing the interests of her people despite prevailing challenges.

According to Nwoko, the royal mother has remained resolute in her advocacy, bringing dignity and conviction to matters affecting her people.

He further commended her role in preserving the cultural heritage of Obior Kingdom, noting that her leadership reflects a balance between tradition and progressive engagement.
